PACIFIC PALISADES Real Estate Photography & Video
PACIFIC PALISADES Real Estate Photography
Premium listing photography for Pacific Palisades ocean and canyon properties.
Coastal drone work. Canyon hillside coverage. Twilight that sells the view. Next-day photo delivery.
Pacific Palisades is photographed wrong more often than any other Westside neighborhood. The reason is geography. Half the Palisades is canyon, half is coastal bluff, and the photographic challenges are completely different between them. A photographer who shoots a Will Rogers canyon home the same way as a Castellammare bluff house gets both of them wrong.
We've worked across the Palisades from the Huntington Palisades up through Will Rogers and out to the Riviera. Sunset Boulevard runs through the spine of the neighborhood, and the topography drops away in every direction from there. East of Sunset, the canyon properties have privacy, mature landscaping, and limited light. West and south of Sunset, the bluff properties have ocean views, hard coastal light, and salt-air-weathered exteriors.
Each zone gets a different shoot plan and a different lighting setup.

What Pacific Palisades real estate demands of a photographer
Ocean-view properties are easier said than shot. The Pacific Coast Highway and the bluff above it sit east- or south-facing, which means the ocean view falls into late-afternoon glare or backlit haze for most of the day. A photographer who arrives at noon gets blown-out windows and a dirty-looking ocean. We schedule bluff shoots for golden hour and twilight, when the ocean light is at its softest and the interior light balances naturally against the exterior view.
Canyon properties have the opposite problem. The hillside orientation often puts the main facade in deep shadow for most of the day. We bring portable continuous and strobe lighting on every canyon shoot to fill the shadow and recover the wood-and-stone textures canyon homes are known for.
The drive between zones costs real time. A Will Rogers canyon home and a Castellammare bluff house are 12 minutes apart in zero traffic. In actual Westside traffic, they're 30 to 45 minutes. We build that travel into the shoot-day plan rather than try to compress both into a single tight schedule.
The architecture across the Palisades is broader than most agents expect. Spanish Colonial and California Ranch dominate the older Huntington Palisades. Mid-century modern is everywhere along the canyon corridors. Contemporary glass-and-steel boxes have replaced many of the older bluff properties over the last decade. Older properties on Bashford and Toyopa often have hand-finished plaster and original tile that need careful lighting. The newer builds need clean lines and unfussy edits.
Coastal exposure is a hidden cost. Salt air weathers exterior paint, copper trim oxidizes faster, and the landscaping shows the marine influence. We handle these honestly. Sky replacements on coastal properties raise red flags with buyers who know the area. Honest twilight and dusk shots are stronger than over-edited skies.

Testimonials
We hired Blazer Visuals to take professional photos and virtually stage a condo in California. The photos turned out great and the virtual staging looks awesome. Blazer Visuals is very responsive and professional. Highly recommend. – Jeff Jefferies
I hired them to photograph a condo for sale in California. The day of the photo shoot was the day that the skies were dark due to smoke from the wildfires. They were flexible so we were able to reschedule at the last minute. When they did the photo shoot the photographer wore a mask and took great pictures. The pictures were ready the next day. I would definitely use them again.- Mark Karwowski
When my wife and I had a hard time selling our house, we decided to hire a professional photographer. That’s when we found Blazer Visuals. He was quick on getting back to us. The price was reasonable. He was very flexible on scheduling us for an appointment and was able to send us the photos within 24 hrs. They came out amazing and helped us sell our house quickly. I highly recommend Blazer Visuals. - Juan A.
